PRIVACY POLICY - THE BASICS 

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 

 

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN THE PRIVACY POLICY

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors an customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much much more.

Deposits

  1. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  2. Vehicle Availability & Substitution

    In the rare event of a mechanical issue or delay due to a prior reservation, Lavish Limousine Service will make every effort to provide alternate transportation (e.g., another vehicle in our fleet, third-party transport, or taxi service). We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater value when necessary to fulfill your booking.

  3. Damage Liability

    Clients are fully responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their guests during the rental period. This includes — but is not limited to — broken windows, damaged interior components, or misuse of emergency exits.

  4. Damage & Cleaning Fees

 

 

  • Burn marks (carpet or seats): $100 per incident

  • Sanitation or excessive cleaning: $250 minimum

 

 

   5. Alcohol & Substance Policy

       Alcohol and drug consumption are strictly prohibited under provincial law. Any fines incurred due to violations will be the responsibility of the client.         

       Lavish Limousine Service may also issue a fine of $200–$500 for any alcohol found on board.

   6. Chauffeur Discretion

         Our chauffeurs have the right to end the service without refund if client behavior is unruly, illegal, or puts the driver or vehicle at risk.

   7. Smoking Policy

        Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles. A $250 fine will apply for any violation.

    8. Unforeseen Delays

       Lavish Limousine Service is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by hazardous weather, traffic conditions, road closures, or unforeseen          incidents.

    9. Lost Items

        We are not liable for any personal items left behind in the vehicle. Please ensure all belongings are removed at the end of your booking.

    10. Final Payment

     All outstanding balances must be paid in full before the trip begins, either on the day of the service or the day prior.
